This seminar will introduce participants to these factors and offer a strategic design for instilling these foundational patterns into the fabric of any youth ministry, regardless of its model.

Workshops:
Participants in this Pathways event will have a choice of workshops to attend in the afternoon. You will select your workshop the morning of the event.

A. Ministering to Teens in the Midst of Technology.
Lars Rood
The world we grew up in is over. The days of "seeing" friends at school and not connecting with them until the next morning are no longer. Teens are now wired and tired. Always online always connected. There are serious implications for how we do ministry to teenagers who have access to information 24/7. The online world has filtered offline and we have to change how we communicate to teens because their brains have literally been "Rewired" by the technology they are growing up with.

B. Bible 101: Bible for Dummies, Brainiacs, and Volunteer Youth Directors
Kang Na
Ask not what the Bible can do for you—ask what you can do for the Bible. One thing may be to get out of the way: let the youths at it, explore it, play with it, question it, even giggle at it. With a bit of preparation, both youth workers and youths can learn to listen to the Bible and appreciate it in new, fresh, and refreshing ways to discover its many riches.
