What's this all about?
Join us on Saturday, November 21 to share stories of Justice, Jesus, and Making Change in the World. During the day, you'll be able to:
EXPLORE your own passion for justice through Engaged Learning Opportunities.
LEARN from each other and guest speaker Rev. Charles Atkins of New Name Alliance.
CONNECT to what’s happening in your community through the Social Justice Networking Fair.
WORSHIP together, experiencing the diverse musical styles and talents of local musicians.
This event is co-sponsored by the Erdman Center of Continuing Education at Princeton Theological Seminary and New Jersey Presbyterian Partnership Groups, Synod of the Northeast.
Featured speaker
Charles Atkins is a chaplain with the New Jersey Department of Corrections. With a ministry called New Name Alliance (www.NewNameX.org), he also produces and records inspirational hip-hop music. Atkins currently serves as the host of the nationally distributed Public Television Series Beyond Theology—an investigation of the intersection of spirituality and public life (ktwu.washburn.edu/productions/BT). His talk at ChangeMaker is entitled "Connecting you passion to the world's need -- Where are you called to be in this world?".
