Leadership and Spirituality

Transforming the Workplace

Thursday, Oct 15, 2009
5:30-9:00 p.m.
Adams House, Princeton Theological Seminary

Our daily work is God’s calling – an empowering opportunity for us to learn more on our journey of knowing and showing greater love. Yet more and more leaders complain that the pressures from the fast-paced workplace of today are pulling them in precisely the opposite direction. Shouldn’t the clergy and laity be doing more together to enable the Holy Spirit to reverse this trend?

This evening program is an opportunity to deepen and extend the conversation begun in June at the first retreat on this topic.

Anticipated Schedule

5:00 to 5:30 - Assemble and catch up time. Grab food from Buffet and eat until 6:00PM
5:30 to 5:40 - Opening words and Prayer
5:40 to 6:00 - Welcome back, Prayer Cards and the Calibration Tool
6:00 to 7:00 - Rotating and Sharing - exercise around our theme
7:00 to 7:15 - Update from Bradley J Moore
7:15 to 8:00 - Brainstorming ideas for April 2010 Event
8:00 to 8:30 - Lectio Divina and Closing Prayer

Learning Objectives

  • A framework for understanding how the power of the Holy Spirit can work through their unique belief system to change their organization for the better.
