The Princeton Seminars
Prospective M.Div., Dual (M.Div/MA) and M.A. students who are US citizens or permanent residents of the US are invited to attend a Princeton Seminar for theological exploration and vocational discernment as guests of the Seminary. These seminars are intended for persons who are US citizens or permanent residents of the US and are considering seminary for the first time. They provide an excellent opportunity to meet faculty, students, and staff of Princeton Theological Seminary.
The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid will cover overnight lodging for a single room in The Erdman Center for up to three nights during your active participation of a Princeton Seminar.
The Seminar is designed to help you in your discernment process by allowing you to:
- Meet with faculty, students and staff
- Learn what makes Princeton Seminary unique
- Attend classes
- Interview with an Admissions Committee member
- Discover opportunities for practical ministry, spiritual formation, and cross-cultural dialogue
You will be our guest for meals, lodging, and events.
If you will be visiting our campus as a Seminar participant by yourself, your only cost will be for transportation to and from Princeton.
Lodging will be at The Erdman Center on campus. If you would like to bring a guest, they will be responsible for their own meals and lodging. If the guest is a spouse, we will cover the cost of your room at the single-room rate, and you will be asked to pay the difference between the single rate and the rate of the room you reserve. For more information on room rates, contact Sherry Garrahan after completing an information request form.
We regret that we are not able to provide child care.

L.I.V.E. Symposium
There are two opportunities during the course of the academic year where domestic students who are underrepresented in graduate theological education and who as Latinas/os, African Americans, Native Americans, and Asian Americans are discerning their vocation within the church. During these three-day experiences, our guests will have the opportunity to converse with others who have a commitment to diversity and issues of multiculturalism, social justice and reconciliation. The content of the program is based on dynamic presentations on campus life from a diverse cross section of Seminary students, faculty, administrators, and alumni/ae. You will audit classes, meet professors, share meals with the Seminary family and participate in seminars by our faculty on responding to a call in a multicultural and pluralistic society. For more information on the program and to register please click here.
Please note that Registration will be accepted for only one of the following events:

We encourage prospective students to visit the Seminary campus. As our guest, we will provide you with lunch, a campus tour, and allow attendance at classes, if possible. A visit during periods when class is in session provides the best PTS experience.
Accommodations on campus will be made on a "space-available" basis; Monday through Friday, for our M.Div., M.A., and Dual-Degree applicants only. We are only able to cover the cost of one overnight stay at the Erdman Center. If space is available, you may reserve additional nights at your own expense.
To schedule a visit, we ask that you complete our Information Request Form online. If you have additional questions, please contact the appropriate office listed below.
